It’s been a pretty great week. We had our final dress for Salty Dinner Theater’s “A Christmas Carol” and it went really well. Lots of fun. And you can read the review right here. Our opening night is this Friday for a private party, then our public show is Saturday, Dec. 11th in Orem at The Old Spaghetti Factory. We also have shows coming up at La Caille and Madeline’s in Sandy and South Jordan.
I also had my review of Rodger’s Memorial Theater’s production of “Madison Square Garden’s A Christmas Carol, The Musical.” You can read it here. It’s my first time as a real reviewer. We’ll have to see if it’s just the first of many reviews or just a blip on my radar. Read it and let me know what you think.
Christmas is coming and the stress is getting fun. I really wish that getting presents was easier. It’s not that I want to get more presents and spend a lot of money, I want to be able to get things for my loved ones that are meaningful for them. I want to spend time with them doing things that will be enjoyable and create lasting memories. And every year we end up getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season and end up not having as much time together as a family as I would like. And here it is the 8th and we still don’t have our tree up. At least we have some decorations out.
This is a very short post, but hopefully I’ll post more regularly during the holidays.
Quote of the day:
“I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ~Charles Dickens”
